THE END

In the end, I saw many movies... some good, some bad... but all were enjoyable in their own way.

Here are my favorites... sort of in preferential order, but it's hard to rate them like that when viewing them at all different times during the year.

1. Field of Dreams
2. Star Trek
3. Seven
4. Boondock Saints
5. Tropic Thunder
6. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
7. Reservoir Dogs
8. Scream
9. Fight Clubs
10. Memento
11. 3:10 to Yuma
12. Session 9
13. Planet B-Boy
14. Invictus
15. The Assassination of Jesse James
16. Zombieland

28. Suicide Kings
29. Crash
30. Blood Diamond
31. Charlie Bartlett

35. The Usual Suspects
36. Slumdog Millionaire
37. Donnie Darko
38. Role Models
39. Hamlet 2
40. The Proposal

Wow. That's a lot. Those really do all come highly recommended by me... every single one!

133: 3:10 to Yuma

Love this movie! And that's saying something because I usually don't lean towards "Westerns". Crowe and Bale were great in this film. The action was great, story was great, characters were great, an overall entertaining action film.

9/10

132: Inglourious Basterds

Love it! Again, typical Quentin Tarantino. Lots of violence, quirky characters, off beat comedy... I love it!

9/10

131: Avatar

Yes, I saw it opening night. The cinematography/special effects of the planet were amazing! Everything had such bright colors, I'm glad I saw it in theaters just for that. The plot was as many said "Pocahantas in Space" and I would agree, but the acting was good, and the story was decent enough to keep the audience interested, especially with the aid of the amazing effects.

9/10

128-130: Boy Eats Girl, Hostel, Stay Alive

Three typical scary movies. Boy Eats Girl was dumb. Hostel was really gross, and also quite scary. Stay Alive was interesting, but the acting was not stellar nor anything else about the movie.

Average: 6/10

127: Invictus

Morgan Freeman = Nelson Mandela, there's no question about that. Great acting by him and Matt Damon. I actually didn't really enjoy the rugby scenes, mostly because I don't really understand the sport so it was a bit confusing for me. Overall a good movie.

9/10

126: Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Typical horror movie... the ending was kinda funny though...
